😁Hi everyone!😁
I have been asked to put work up fortnightly, not weekly so please enjoy the themed work for the next 2 weeks and I’ll post more on Friday 29th May.
As teachers, we will record a little clip each week for the children. I’m not a natural at this so I thought it might be nice if the children could send me a question that I can answer for them on the next clip. Feel free to stay in touch via e-mail too. I’ve loved seeing the children’s incredible work.
Stay safe everyone.
Love Mrs Gray 💕

This fortnights work is based on the story of ‘Tadpole’s Promise’
🐸 🦋🐸🦋🐸🦋🐸🦋🐸🦋🐸🦋🐸
1🌈Watch the story on YouTube: Tadpole’s Promise little foxes
2🌈Write a few sentences about how you felt at the end of the story. 🤭😂🤨☹️😢
3🌈Watch a real life clip of the life cycle on YouTube: From egg to frog in 7 weeks! Nature North
4🌈Make a fact sheet on the life cycle of a frog. 🐸 Draw your own pictures, label each stage and write some sentences about the life cycle. Use the following words to help you:
Frog spawn, hatch, tadpole, gills, legs, tail, froglets, frog, metamorphosis
5🌈Make a bouncing frog on a lily pad. Watch the tutorial on YouTube: Frog on a lilypad craft. The craft train.
6🌈Make a 3D clay frog. Watch the method on YouTube: How to make a frog sweet art by Eli. 🐸
7🌈If you don’t have play dough, you can make it using this recipe:
🥣Ingredients🥣
1 cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 cup water
Food colouring
1🐸 Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
2🐸 Mix the food colouring with the water and the oil in a pan.
3🐸Add the dry ingredients to your pan of wet ingredients and mix well.
4🐸Cook over a medium heat until the dough starts to form.
5🐸Once it starts to form a ball together and looks fully cooked, take off the heat and let the dough cool before touching.
6🐸Once cool, knead the dough for 5 minuets to make the dough soft.
8🌈 Write your own play dough recipe. When you write your method use the bossy verbs word bank:
put, mix, stir, blend, add, pour, knead, roll, take, cook
