This fortnights work is based on mini-beasts and I hope you have lots of fun with this theme. I’m very much looking forward to seeing lots of you who are returning to school soon. We are all ready for your return and are looking forward to seeing your smiles.

2🌈Write an invitation for the minibeast bop. You could include: Date, time, dress code, information on the band and a picture.

3🌈Choose a minibeast to research and write about.

4🌈Go on a minibeast hunt in your garden.

5🌈Draw your findings.

6🌈Create a block graph of the minibeasts you found. Use jit on hwb if you like.

7🌈Group minibeasts according to whether they have: wings, shell, legs etc

8🌈Make a family of bugs using recycled items with YouTube: Recycled art ideas for kids: ladybug’s family from plastic bottles/DIY Recycled.

9🌈Keep reading using oxford reading tree.

10🌈maths revision:

Count to 100

Count in 2s, 5s and 10s

Double and half numbers within 20

Continue to add and subtract within 20 and 30

Continue to make amounts with coins up to 20p and give change too
